FINANCE WITH AFSHINMONEY TOOLKIT
Using the Money Toolkit

Useful illustrations.
Clear boundaries.

The tools help you explore how figures and assumptions fit together. A result is a starting point for understanding a question, not a personal recommendation.

Get more from each tool.

  1. Read the assumptions.

Check the period, contribution timing, rates, tax year and exclusions listed on the page. Use the tool only where those assumptions fit the question you are exploring.

  2. Compare a few scenarios.

Start with example figures, change one assumption and calculate again. Combined planners carry the earlier stage’s result into the next stage.

  3. Check the next decision.

Check important figures against your own provider’s documents or an appropriate professional before acting. The tools do not assess your full circumstances.

What the figures don’t promise.

An assumed rate or return is not a forecast or a guarantee. Calculators may exclude charges, changing rates, tax effects or other factors; each tool explains its own limits. They do not choose products, establish eligibility or tell you what decision is right for you.

Questions about the toolkit.

Where can I see the assumptions?

Open “How to read this result · assumptions & limits” on the calculator page. Some tools also show a scope note above the form. Tax illustrations state their tax year and any regional limits.

Are my calculator figures saved?

The website processes the figures you submit to produce the illustration. The toolkit application does not save those entries to your account or place them in the page address. Your browser may retain its own page or form history. Use example figures if you prefer.

Does a tool connect to my bank, lender or pension?

No. You enter the figures yourself. The illustrations do not read a financial account, change a payment, buy a product or carry out a transaction.

What should I do if a result looks wrong?

Check the input units and assumptions, then try a simple example. If something still looks wrong, email support@financewithafshin.co.uk with the tool name, what happened and example figures. Please do not send personal financial documents.
